Vacation in Manzanita Oregon – A Caribbean Girl’s Perspective

Updated: Apr 19, 2019

If you ever get the chance to visit the Pacific Northwest, do like I did and visit Manzanita Oregon. That's where I went on vacation, and I absolutely loved it!

Manzanita Beach is located just 90 minutes from Portland Oregon. It is surrounded by huge fir tree forests, majestic rocks, thundering waves of the Pacific Ocean, and long stretches of pristine sand. The neat little town is home to tasteful little stores, art galleries, nice coffee spots, friendly pubs, and great restaurants.

I had the pleasure to stay in two vacation rentals, front on the beautiful Manzanita Oregon beach; The Oceanside Cabin and The Historic Reed House, both owned by Kim Bergstrom of The Houses of Manzanita Beach. Kim, who clearly has remarkable decorating and design skills, just newly remodelled and redecorated both houses.

Kim has a wonderful website, where you can check out her stunning Manzanita vacation rentals.

She also has a blog called Manzanita Beach Life, which is full of local knowledge and excellent insider information. When Kim found out we are also vacation rental owners and heard about our Curacao Island Blog, she invited me to write a blog post to share my experience at The Houses On Manzanita Beach and my visit to Manzanita Oregon.
