Coral Estate is one of Curacao's most prestigious gated resorts, at the South West of the island. It has a 2-mile long coastline on the southwest side and an inland lake with pink flamingos on the northeastern side.

KARAKTER BEACH
Karakter Beach is an easy one-block walk from Villa Seashell - Curacao Vacation Rentals. Here you also find the delicious Restaurant Karakter and the friendly dive shop Coral Divers.
The east side of the beach is sandy with easy sea access, and the west side is partly human-made with rocks to provide the sand from flowing into the sea during stormy weather. The sea can be accessed via a concrete ramp with handrails.
This is the part of the beach where the restaurant Karakter is located. Beach chairs, sofas, umbrellas, and wi-fi are free for customers of Restaurant Karakter that order a drink and/or food.

SNORKELING, DIVING, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
While so many Caribbean destinations require boat trips out to barrier reefs, the reefs at Coral Estate are readily available for snorkeling & diving and are easily accessed from Karakter Beach.
We have snorkels available for you at Villa Seashell - Curacao Vacation Rentals, and in case you like to dive you can rent your equipment from the Coral Divers and/or book various dives and PADI courses with them.
Coral Divers offers snorkeling tours to those who like to see the underwater wonders from the surface.
The dive shop also rents kayaks and Stand Up Paddling (SUP) boards, gives SUP tours and lessons, arranges boat day trips to Klein Curacao and sunset boat trips, does big game fishing trips, dolphin free dives and swims, and ATV tours.

DINING
Just down the road from Villa Seashell - Curacao Vacation Rentals, you will find one of Curacao's best restaurants, Restaurant Karakter, where you can enjoy culinary delights with your feet in the sand.
Restaurant Karakter serves breakfast, lunch, tapas, and dinner, and also provides catering to all the villas in the resort. Koraal Rooftop Terrace, a cozy bar with an infinity pool, is located above Restaurant Karakter. The bar, which has a 270 degrees sea view, offers lunch and bar bites, cocktails, and dinner. Koraal has Sushi Saturdays with delicious sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri for lunch, bites, or dinner. On Sundays, it is BBQ Sunday at Koraal with Rum Cocktails and Live Reggae music.
